The Mushroom Kingdom (Japanese:キノコ王国) is a fictional setting in the Super Mario Bros. video game series where most of the games take place. It is a monarchy and its head of state and ruler is either Princess Peach (Pleach??) or King Toadstool. The Chancellor of the kingdom is its head of government in Super Mario RPG. Its capital, as set forth by Paper Mario, is Toad Town. Though Princess Pleach and her father are human (at least partially), the citizens of this area are the mushroom-like Toads (so we're the Toads??!).

FF: Hahaha! Nolah, I wasn't. But I had (richer) cousins who actually owned Nintendos. Whenever we visited, everyone would dash off to the TV and kick Koopas. How could I not notice? Nobody would even try any conversation, even the half-hearted kind.....
TungKu plinKu? The best of both worlds, perhaps? Kekeke.... At least not Princess Peach lar....
